The WSU Library is committed to educational innovation and student-centered best practices. In Fall 2016, the Library launched the Open Educational Resources Initiative (OERI) to foster instructional effectiveness while lowering costs for students. Since then, thirty-seven faculty have received $1,000 mini-grants to redesign courses using open educational resources. To date, more than 6,500 students have realized $327,000 in student savings because of the OERI!
