The Worcester Columbus Day Parade was founded by Worcester's Italian American community but has grown into a multicultural celebration.
The City of Worcester's Annual Festival of Lights takes place on the first Friday in December from 6 - 8 p.m. Festivities include several youth choral performances, the annual holiday tree lighting and opening of the public ice skating rink on the Worcester Common Oval.
