MACHW is a statewide professional organization for community health workers (CHWs) from all disciplines. We were founded in March 2000 to enable CHWs to lead the movement to organize, define and strengthen the profession of community health work.
The mission of NCHEC is to enhance the professional practice of Health Education by promoting and sustaining a credentialed body of Health Education Specialists. To meet this mission, NCHEC certifies health education specialists, promotes professional development, and strengthens professional preparation and practice.
Our goal is to build a better, healthier future for people all over the world. Working through offices in more than 150 countries, WHO staff work side by side with governments and other partners to ensure the highest attainable level of health for all people.
